AIAA Baltimore Section Engineer of the Year 2009

AND

AIAA Baltimore Section Engineering Manager of the Year 2009

The AIAA Baltimore Section Council is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for AIAA Baltimore Section Engineer of the Year 2009 and AIAA Baltimore Section Engineering Manager of the Year 2009.  The following list outlines the general rules and nominating process:

• Nominations may be made by any member of the AIAA or related organization, employers or any other relevant, professional organization.  Self-nominations will not be accepted.

• Nominations should include: specification of which award the nomination is for Engineer of the Year or Engineering Manager of the Year, the completed relevant nomination form including a summary of accomplishments focusing on the specific activity, or activities, for the year prior (2008) that make(s) the nominated individual a candidate for this award and at least three letters of recommendation (maximum of five letters of recommendation). Additional information about the candidate’s overall career is also encouraged. The entire nomination package should not exceed ten pages in length.

• Nominations will be carried over from year to year.

• Nominations must be received by May 1, 2009.  Award(s) will be announced at the AIAA Baltimore Section Annual Awards Dinner held in May/June 2009 timeframe.
