The AIAA Baltimore Section strongly supports the Student Chapter at the United States Naval Academy. A number of joint meetings are typically held throughout the academic year - Midshipman meal costs are subsidized by the Section. The midshipman also participate in the AIAA Design, Build, and Fly contest which is held in alternating years at the Patuxent Naval Air Station in Southern Maryland and the CESSNA Aircraft Company Test Field in Wichita Kansas.
